KING WILLIAM’S TOWN: King Williams Town Police member went an extra mile in serving the community and saved a life of a young lady from Ginsberg through his bravery.

Police have shown much dedication and enthusiastic efforts in serving the community, this comes after Constable Luxolo Dlabantu stationed at King Williams Town SAPS rescued a young lady over the weekend. It is alleged that

the lady tried to commit suicide in her room at a rental resident. A concerned community member called Constable Dlabantu informing him about this matter. In a quick response Dlabantu attended the call and found the room locked, he called the landlord asking for permission to kick the door open. After entering the house, constable saw the lady lying on a sofa struggling to breathe and he took his personal vehicle rushing her to Grey Hospital where the doctor confirmed that she drank poison. She was later transferred to Bhisho Hospital for more test and is alive.

The Cluster Commander of King Williams Town, Brigadier Luntu Ngubelanga commended the member for going an extra mile for being a public servant and saved a life.
