7 May 2018, Gauteng: A woman, believed to be 25-years-old, was killed this morning when her vehicle crashed into a road sign at the Beyers Naude offramp off the N1 Highway in Johannesburg.
ER24 Paramedics, along with the Fire and Provincial services, arrived on the scene at 02h00 to find a crumpled light motor vehicle in the emergency lane of the offramp.
Upon closer inspection, paramedics found the body of a woman, believed to be 25-years-old, lying trapped inside the wreckage.
Unfortunately, the woman had already succumbed to her injuries. Nothing could be done for her and she was declared dead by the Provincial Services.
The details surrounding this incident are not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
