KIMBERLEY: COMMUNITY MEMBERS CAME OUT IN LARGE NUMBERS TO PAY THEIR LAST RESPECTS

Northern Cape: The community of Kimberly and surrounding areas came out in large numbers to attend the wreath laying and candle lighting ceremony in Kimberley last night.

The ceremony was organised by Kimberlely CPF through the Chairperson Mr Mpisi.

The ceremony was held remembrance of Warrant Officer Duncan Vertue and Sergeant Gregory Vis who paid with their lives while performing their duties on Wednesday.






The two were fatally injured while pursuing a domestic violence suspect.

Sergeant Oarabile Boyise was seriously injured and has been hospitalised.

The suspect was also fatally injured when police retaliated. #FinalSalute
