15 Sep 2017, Johannesburg: A man has been suspended from his job at Southern African Auto Supplies after a video of him attacking a 71-year-old driver went viral. According to News24, the incident took place on London Road, located in Johannesburg. There had reportedly been a slight altercation between motorists, Christopher Price, a 71-year-old, and Lance O’Leary.

Instead of resolving the matter properly, Lance vandalised Christopher’s Range Rover, assaulted the elderly man, and also shoved Christopher’s son, Hadleigh.

It has been reported that Christopher and his son laid a charge of assault against Lance on August 30.

According to Hadleigh, Christopher had the right of way when two lanes were going into one lane.

Hadleigh reported that his father pulled over in order to exchange contact details to resolve the matter. However, Lance stated that Christopher forced him off the road, drove into his vehicle, and then attempted to flee the scene.

Lance has stated that there is no excuse for his actions. He also went on to state that he has been receiving death threats since the incident. Lance has opened a case against Christopher.
