26 Jan 2018, Cape Town: Today saw the arrival of Table Mountain Cableway's 27-Millionth visitor. The Cableway's Managing Director, Wahida Parker said the latest million took only 12 months to achieve, owing to consistent visitor numbers throughout 2017.

After purchasing his ticket, 80-year-old Andrew Harrow, together with his wife Jo from Aberdeen in Scotland was surprised by Cable way staff members.

He was given a variety of gifts and an official certificate.Harrow says its their first time in South Africa. He says they almost didn't visit the mountain today, and how very lucky that they did.

Parker says looking ahead, they hope to continue to facilitate a world-class experience that allows many more people, especially locals, to make lasting memories atop South Africa's New 7 Wonder of Nature
