25 Feb 2018, Cape Town: Situation in Gugulethu is now out of Control where protesters burned down Mzoli's Butchery and other businesses on Sunday afternoon.

According to Western Cape traffic police a Supermarket next to the popular Mzoli's, in Cape Town has been looted as a violent service delivery protest continues in the area.

Police spokesperson Andre Traut says they are maintaining law and order in the area and no arrests have been made. This protest comes days after angry backyard dwellers attempted to take over land in the area.

Public Order Police members are currently monitoring a group of about 100 community members protesting along NY6 in Gugulethu. Four suspects were subsequently arrested for public violence. They are expected to appear in court soon.
