28 Jun 2018, Free State: DOUBLE FARM MURDER - FREE STATE, SOUTH AFRICA:

The bodies of an elderly couple were found murdered on their farm in Vanstadensrus in the Free State province on Tuesday. Vanstadensrus is situated some 30km south of Wepener and 35km north-north-west of Zastron.

Both victims sustained gunshot wounds to the head. According to AfriForum Head of Community Safety, the victims, a married couple were 68 (female) and 78 (male) years old and both members of AfriForum.

IN A SEPARATE FARM ATTACK - 27 June 2018 - Boschkop area, Gauteng Province: An Elderly couple was ambushed at their gate by an unknown number of attackers. Husband was assaulted and his firearm was taken from him. SAPS and CPF are tracking suspect(s).

ANOTHER 2 ATTACKS - 27 June 2018 - Hennopsriver, Gauteng Province: In the first incident, 5 young attackers armed with a 9mm pistol tied up the guards and shot one in the leg. The attackers fled with phones and electronic devices.
In the second attack, four attackers were caught in the act by staff at a lodge in Hennopsriver. Attackers fled.
