10 Nov 2017, Derby, North West: An elderly couple were attacked on a farm near Derby in the North West. The 77 year old man and 72 year old woman were badly assaulted during the attack.

On Friday morning, Police spokesperson, Capt. Elsabé Augoustides said that police were searching for a suspect in a gray Isuzu bakkie. Solar panels, a revolver and three cellphones were stolen.

At this stage it is not certain whether the couple were attacked on Thursday evening or during the early hours of Friday morning. It's also not confirmed at this stage on how serious the injuries are.
