17 Sep 2017, Kwa-Zulu Natal: The man went missing yesterday afternoon whereby paramedics, along with SAPS Search and Rescue, were called to the scene. The search continued this morning and the body was found. Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.

It is believed that the man and friends were at the dam when he decided to go for a swim and went missing.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known to our paramedics but the SAPS and local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.



IN ANOTHER INCIDENT:

A man, believed to be 56-years-old, drowned in the Albert Falls dam in Cramond. Paramedics, along with SAPS Search and Rescue were called to the scene yesterday afternoon after the man went missing.

The search was continued this morning and the man’s body was found before 08h00. Unfortunately, there was nothing paramedics could do for the man and he was declared dead on the scene.

It is believed that the man was on a small boat when it capsized yesterday.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident are not yet known to our paramedics but the SAPS and local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
