BRACKENFELL SAPS INVESTIGATING AN ATTEMPTED MURDER CASE AFTER ALLEGED SHOOTING ON BOTTELARY ROAD

11 Feb 2018, Brackenfell, Cape Town: Brackenfell SAPS investigating a case of attempted murder after a taxi driver allegedly fired a shot at a Brackenfell resident whilst driving on Bottelary Road. The incident happened on 8 February at about 07h45.

“As she was turning left onto Bottelary Road there were taxis passing her on the gravel road and one allegedly hooted at her. She heard a weird sound but did not pay much attention to it at the time and continued to work. When she arrived at her place of work in Kuilsriver, she wanted to put something in the boot and she saw, what looked like a gunshot in the boot of her vehicle,” says police spokesperson Captain Erica Crous.

The investigation continues.
