CAPE TOWN MOTORBIKE RIDER WERE INJURED THIS MORNING WHEN HE WAS KNOCKED DOWN BY A CAR ON M3

29 Jan 2018, Cape Town: A male motorbike rider sustained moderate injuries after being knocked down by a vehicle on the M3 on Constantia Main Rd bridge in Cape Town this morning. ER24 transported the patient to Mediclinic Constantiaberg for further medical care.



In a Separate Motorcycle Accident A man, believed to be 50-years-old, was killed after he lost control of his motorbike and went down an embankment on the N2 South just past the Umkomaas off ramp on Sunday afternoon.

When ER24 Paramedics arrived on the scene at 15H22, an off-duty province paramedic and the fire department were trying to resuscitate the man.

ER24 took over the resuscitation but unfortunately after a little while the man succumbed to his injuries and he was declared dead by ER24.

The exact circumstances surrounding the incident were not yet known to our paramedics.
