SABC News Western Cape | Western Cape | NARI

26 Jan 2018, Cape Town:

Six people were left injured this morning, including four children, when the taxi they were travelling in overturned at the Military and Depsidon Road intersection in Lavender Hills in the Western Cape.

ER24 paramedics, along with other services, arrived on the scene to find the taxi in the left-hand lane of the road, partially on the side of the pavement. The occupants had already climbed out of the vehicle and were now seated on the pavement.

Paramedics assessed the patients and found that four children and two adults had sustained injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The patients were treated for their injuries and were thereafter transported to Retreat Day Hospital for further treatment.

Local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
