FATAL ACCIDENTS: 13 PEOPLE KILLED ON WESTERN CAPE ROADS IN SEPARATE ACCIDENTS

9 Feb 2018, Cape Town: Provincial Traffic Services reported that 13 people were killed on Western Cape roads between Thursday 1 February and Sunday 4 February:

Thursday 1 February:
02h05 – 2 Pedestrians were killed on the N2 at Groot Brak River in a collision between two heavy motor vehicles and a light motor vehicle.

Friday 2 February:
15h50 – A driver and 6 passengers were killed in a multi-vehicle collision on the R43 Artois Road near Wolseley - (View accident Report here)

Saturday 3 February:
23h45 – A driver was killed in a head-on collision between a bus and a heavy motor vehicle.

Sunday 4 February:
13h40 – A man was killed when a light delivery vehicle lost control and overturned on the R43 near De Doorns.
21h10 – A man was killed when a vehicle overturned on the R300 near Stock Road.
22h20 – A pedestrian was killed on the R43 between Ceres and Wolseley.
