BIKE & CAR COLLIDED HEAD-ON IN FIELDS HILL, PINETOWN LEAVING BOTH DRIVER INJURED

16 Jul 2017, Pinetown: Two people have been injured after a Motor Bike and a car collided on Fields Hill in Pinetown on Sunday morning. Rescue Care Paramedics were called to the serious collision on the M13 Fields Hill just after 8am on Sunday morning.

On arrival Paramedics found that both carriageways had been affected after a biker who was travelling West Bound up Fields Hill somehow lost control and collided with the barrier, the bike landed on the East Bound carriageway colliding head on into a car.



The bike rider and the car driver had sustained moderate injuries and were stabilised on the scene by Advanced Life Support paramedics on the scene before being transported to nearby hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the exact cause of the biker to lose control is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
