26 Nov 2017, KwaZulu-Natal: Two separate bike accidents have left one biker deceased and another injured on the N2 near the M7 offramp on Sunday.

Rescue Care Paramedics assisted with the annual Toy Ride which took place from Pavilion to Amanzimtoti on Sunday.

Whilst on the route Paramedics were called to a bike accident on the N2 South just after the M7 offramp just after 10am. On arrival Paramedics found the man lying in the centre medium.

He had suffered major injuries and Advanced Life Support Paramedics attempted to resuscitate the man on scene however he had suffered major injuries and after approximately thirty minutes the man was declared deceased.

In a second motor bike accident this time on the N2 North Bound before the M7 Paramedics found a bike and a car had collided around 13:30.

The biker had sustained minor injuries and was stabilised on the scene before being transported to a nearby hospital for the further care that he required.

At this stage the events leading up to the collisions are unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
