6 Sep 2017, Berea: Eleven children on their way to school have been injured after an accident on Lancers Road near Wills Road in Berea this morning. Just after 7am Rescue Care Paramedics arrived on the scene to find that two vehicles had collided.

A total of eleven children ages ranging from 6years to eleven years had sustained minor injuries and were stabilised on the scene before being transported to various Durban Hospitals for the further care that they required.

At this stage the exact cause of the collision is unknown however SAPS were on the scene and will be investigating further.
