10 Apr 2018, Krugersdorp, Gauteng: One person has been killed and fifteen others injured this morning following a collision at the N14 and R563 in Oak Tree, Krugersdorp.
ER24 Paramedics, along with several other services, arrived on the scene to find a truck near the intersection while the wrecked taxi was found on the side of the road. It is believed that the occupants had already been extricated from the taxi and were now found lying around the vehicle.

Once the patients had been treated, the two critically injured patients were airlifted by the ER24 Oneplan Helicopter, and another private helicopter, to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment.
The remaining patients were transported by ambulance to nearby hospitals for further treatment.
The exact cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on the scene for further investigations.
