FREE STATE - FIVE PEOPLE WERE INJURED WHEN A MINIBUS ROLLED OUTSIDE DEALESVILLE

4 Jun 2018, Free State: Five persons sustained injuries ranging from minor to critical after this minibus left the road and overturned on a gravel road outside Dealesville early Sunday morning.

Two of the victims had to be freed from the wreckage using the Jaws-of-Life. The critically injured patient was airlifted from the scene by the Free State EMS helicopter after receiving advanced life support treatment by paramedics on the scene.

All patients were transported to Pelonomi Hospital in Bloemfontein for further care by various services that attended the scene. The SAPS is investigating the cause of the accident.
